Bridal has been part of Kelly’s life for as long as she can remember.
From childhood days spent amongst fabrics and lace in her family’s workroom to creating gowns for brides today, bridal has quietly woven itself through every chapter of her life.

Where It Began
Growing up in her family’s bridal manufacturing business, Kelly spent her childhood surrounded by fabrics, lace and wedding gowns taking shape around her.
School holidays were spent in the workroom, where little pieces of leftover fabric and lace became dresses for her dolls. What began as childhood play quietly grew into a lifelong love of bridal design.
At sixteen, Kelly left home for New Zealand to study, taking with her an instinctive understanding of gown-making and craftsmanship that had been part of her world from the very beginning.
She didn’t know it then, but bridal was already becoming part of her story.

A Life in Bridal
For fourteen years in Auckland, Kelly worked one-on-one with brides, creating custom gowns and helping each woman discover what truly felt right for her.
Those years shaped the way she designs today. She learned that the perfect gown isn’t simply about a beautiful silhouette, but about understanding the woman wearing it — her body shape, her personality, her wedding and, most importantly, how she wants to feel.

Her Own Workroom
Craftsmanship has always remained at the heart of Kelly’s work.
For more than 15 years, she has maintained her own dedicated workroom, giving her a direct connection to every stage of the process — from personally selecting fabrics and laces to developing each design and overseeing how every gown is made.
This direct relationship between designer and workroom removes unnecessary layers between design and production, allowing Kelly Lin to maintain consistent quality and thoughtful craftsmanship, while making beautifully crafted gowns more accessible.

A New Chapter
After moving to Melbourne, welcoming her second child and taking a brief pause during the pandemic, Kelly found herself returning to the dream that had quietly followed her from that childhood workroom — to create a bridal label of her own.
Kelly Lin was born from a simple belief:
every bride deserves beautiful design,
thoughtful craftsmanship and the feeling
of luxury on her wedding day.

Today, the greatest reward remains seeing a bride feel completely herself in one of Kelly’s gowns — and knowing that something she created has become a small part of someone’s life story.
For Kelly, bridal has never been simply about creating a beautiful dress. It is about the woman who will wear it, how she feels in it, and the memories that will remain long after the wedding day.
After all these years, that connection is still what makes designing each gown so meaningful.
